The Complete Calvin & Hobbes
Denis Goulet's blog has alerted me to the fact that come this fall, we will see a hardcover boxed edition of the greatest comic strip ever created outside of the Pearly Gates themselves. Calvin & Hobbes is collected and all will be right with the world come October 5.

I'm pretty sure that I posted this a while back, but when I did, I didn't get to see the slipcase in all of it's glory. Wow! Faboo!
I think that the best thing about the new collection is that the older strips from the earlier collections will be displayed in the "wide screen" format of the later books. The old Sunday scripts aren't nearly as complex as the newer ones, but it'll be cool to see them represented as they should have been.
Makes you nostalgic for the 90s when there was tonnes of great strips, eh?
